Best for people interested in the ancestry and highlights of their Scots heritage in the US. Otherwise it may become tedious. For me it was interesting.
Very concise overview of Scotland's contributions to America's early development from many different angles. Did not take long to read, but was very interesting.
I love this book. After yrs of searching i found our family link to Scotland via Ireland. Rumors where we were Scotish but everything pointed to Ireland. It was wonderful to make the connection thanks to this book.
I was interested in any mention of scot Irish ancestors and did so. Not really an easy read but informative. Pretty good index helped.
Lots of information, but mostly a list of names and places and it is not really very exciting to read. Good reference material
